1. Scope of Service
Rashi One Way Cabs ("we," "us," or "our") provides chauffeur-driven car rental bookings for one-way outstation travels, round-trip tours, and custom packages across India. All bookings initiated through our website are inquiry requests that connect you with our booking support desk. Final vehicle allocations are subject to availability, driver schedules, and receipt of booking advance confirmations if required.
2. Vehicle Class Rules & Capacities
For safety and compliance with regional traffic regulations, passengers must strictly adhere to the seat limits of the booked category. If excess passengers arrive, the driver reserves the right to refuse service. Standard passenger limits are:
- Sedans (Swift Dzire, Hyundai Aura): Maximum of 4 passengers + 1 driver.
- SUVs & MPVs (Toyota Innova, Maruti Ertiga, Mahindra Scorpio): Maximum of 6 to 7 passengers depending on the specific vehicle chassis.
- Tempo Travellers: 8 or more passengers as specified in your booking agreement.
3. Pricing, Tolls & Extra Charges
Our flat outstation packages include standard travel fares, toll taxes, state boundary permits, and driver allowance. However, the following exclusions apply and will be charged extra:
- Route Deviations: Travel beyond the pre-booked route description or additional drop-offs not registered in the booking itinerary will be charged on a per-kilometer basis.
- Parking Charges: Airport or railway parking fees, commercial complex parking, or hotel parking fees are to be paid directly by the passenger.
- Extra Night Halts: In round-trip journeys extending past midnight, extra night driver allowances will apply.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We believe in transparent scheduling. If your plans change, you can cancel your ride under the following conditions:
- Cancellations made 12 hours before pickup: 100% refund of any advance payment.
- Cancellations made within 6 to 12 hours of pickup: A cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the booking advance or ₹500 (whichever is higher) will be deducted.
- Cancellations made under 6 hours of pickup / No Show: No refund of booking advance.
- Refund Processing: Valid refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days back to the original payment source.
5. Driver Allocation & Journey Schedule
Driver contact details and car registration numbers are sent via SMS or WhatsApp 2 to 3 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time. While we strive to maintain absolute punctuality, we are not liable for delayed pickups or delayed journeys caused by extreme weather conditions, unexpected highway blockages, political strikes, or mechanical force majeure events.
6. Passenger Code of Conduct
To ensure a safe environment for both our drivers and passengers, we enforce a strict code of conduct:
- Smoking, consuming alcohol, or carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
- Seat belts must be worn by front and rear passengers where applicable by law.
- Carrying explosives, hazardous chemicals, or contraband goods is prohibited.
- The chauffeur reserves the right to terminate the trip immediately if passengers exhibit abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior.
7. Limitation of Liability
Rashi One Way Cabs is not liable for loss or damage to personal items, luggage, or valuables left behind in the vehicle. Passengers are requested to check the car thoroughly before deboarding. Our liability for any claim arising from our travel services is capped at the total amount paid by the customer for the specific ride.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of these services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
